PICS student and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Ph.D. Student Sam Layding recently won the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy’s 2023 Blog Competition for his article titled, “Grace Under Pressure: How AI Can Help Us Design the Next Generation of Smart Separations Membranes.”
This article, published on February 12th, focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in advancing goals in clean energy. Specifically, Sam discusses how researchers can artificially build polymers using neural networks and AI technology to advance research in separation of gas mixtures with an end goal of addressing climate change.
