PICS offers both an M.S. in Scientific Computing and a Certificate in Advanced Scientific Computing. Please see below on how to apply to our programs. The certificate is only available to current graduate students at the University of Pennsylvania. Current undergraduate students can also choose to become an Accelerated Master’s student in SCMP.

Apply to the MSE in Scientific Computing Program

Applications are now closed! Please check back in the Fall.

Our applications usually open around mid-September and remain open until February of the following year. Decisions are made up until end of March/early April. If you have any questions, feel free to email the academic coordinator for further clarification or check out our page on the Scientific Computing Master’s Program (SCMP).

Apply to the Certificate Program

You must be a Penn graduate student to apply for the certificate program. Please fill out the following form and email it to Julia Esposito at jnespos@seas.upenn.edu.

Apply to be an Accelerated Master’s Student

There are two options for accelerated master’s students. If you are already a Penn student, please follow the link below for more information on the Accelerated Master’s program.

If you are not a Penn student but are a student from Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, or LaSalle University, you can apply to our programs with the 4+1 Accelerated Master’s program.
