On Thursday, April 18th, PICS held its first (hopefully of many) open mic sessions. This event gave PICS students the opportunity to present, discuss, and problem solve their research in an informal setting. PICS is an interdisciplinary space consisting of students from MEAM, CBE, MSE and more all who share an interest in computational science. This open mic session allowed students to discuss their research with scholars from other disciplines to try and find novel solutions to their research.
