Professor Pouch is a new faculty member in BioEngineering. She is also a member of the Penn Image Computing and Science Laboratory (PICSL) where she carries out computational image analysis research, primarily related to guidance of heart valve repair surgery. She is also a co-investigator in the Penn Tissue Mapping Center, which is developing a multi-scale model of the female reproductive organs.
