Konrad Kording explains “How to run big (neuro)science conferences online”

Konrad Kording, PIK University Professor, Department of Neuroscience, Perelman School of Medicine recently hosted neuromatch, a neuroscience conference. Due to COVID-19 the conference had to be held entirely online. Despite this limitation, Neuromatch was a wildly popular runaway success with 3k registrants and only cost $200 to host.

There was a lot of trial and error in hosting this conference and Professor Kording has taken the time to write an article for Medium where he breaks down what he learned hosting this conference.
