What are the options for the free elective? Does it need to be one of the courses offered by SEAS or can it be a course from any school at Penn?

Usually, the free elective is a course in SEAS, but if you have a technical course in mind outside of SEAS just let me know and I can see if it can be approved. The free elective is pretty flexible and therefore students usually suggest a course and we approve it.
