Danielle S. Bassett to speak at the first SFI Community Lecture of the 2019 season

Professor Danielle S. Bassett will speak at the inaugural Santa Fe Institute Community Lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 pm at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, 211 W. San Francisco St., Santa Fe.

In this lecture, Professor Bassett will discuss complex networks and systems, from those that organize traffic on the streets to the patterns in our neural systems. She will discuss, “What do the correspondences between these domains tell us about the nature of modeling and computation in our brains, and mechanisms for knowledge acquisition? Can we, as networks, use network science to think about ourselves?”
