Workshop: OpenMP

On Saturday, November 20 from 10:00 – 3:30 PICS will host a workshop on OpenMP. This workshop will be capped at 30 people with priority given to students enrolled in the PICS Certificate of Advanced Scientific Computing. The OpenMP API supports multi-platform shared-memory parallel programming in C/C++ and Fortran. The OpenMP API defines a portable, scalable model with a simple and flexible interface for developing parallel applications on platforms from the desktop to the supercomputer.
